COMPETENCIES & EXPERIENCE:
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited university
- Strong knowledge of animal anatomy, diseases, treatments, and procedures
- Familiarity with veterinary diagnostic equipment and technology
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Ability to build rapport with clients and their pets
- Commitment to providing compassionate animal care
- Physical ability to properly restrain and handle animals
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Patience, attention to detail, and organizational skills
- Valid veterinary license in the state of CA
